About the Journal
The Journal of Educational Management and Supervision (JEMAS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the areas of educational leadership, policy development, institutional management, and supervisory practices.
JEMAS serves as a platform for educators, administrators, researchers, and policymakers to exchange innovative ideas, empirical research findings, and practical insights that promote effective management and supervision in educational systems.

Publication Frequency
JEMAS will be published bi-annually (June and December), both online and in print (if required).
Bi-annual Publication
Accepted papers will first appear in the Online First section before being assigned to an issue.
Peer Review Policy
JEMAS operates a double-blind peer review system.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two qualified reviewers to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance.
Manuscripts are evaluated for clarity, methodology, contribution to the field, and adherence to ethical research standards.
Manuscript Submission Guidelines
- Articles must be written in English and prepared using APA 7th Edition format.
- Manuscripts should not exceed 7,000 words, including references.
- Abstract: 150–250 words with 3–5 keywords.
- Tables and figures must be clearly labeled and referenced.
- Submissions must include the author's full name, institutional affiliation, and ORCID ID (if available).
- Manuscripts should be submitted via the JEMAS Online Submission Portal (link to be created).

Notes For Contributors
Scholarly and well-researched articles on educational management, administration, and other current issues of educational concerns are accepted for publication in the Journal of Educational Management and Supervision. Articles must be typed in MS Word, 12-point font size, double line spacing, Times New Roman font type, using an A-4 size sheet. Articles should not exceed 15 pages, including references.
The cover paper should include the paper title, the author’s name(s), affiliation, e-mail address, and WhatsApp number. A minimum of three to five alphabetically organized keywords should be included in the Abstract. The paper must be original and written in clear and coherent sentences. Tables, figures, graphs, and diagrams, if any, should be embedded in the main body of the work where they appear using an appropriate format.
Mode of presentation of the article and all references must conform to the latest American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition referencing style. A paper with more than 24% plagiarism will be rejected. Paper submission should be submitted to the journal email address: jemas@uam.edu.ng. Hard and soft copies could be submitted.
